I am Ashraf Khalifa, a scientific
researcher with a PhD degree in Soil Science (Agricultural-Environmental
Sciences) from Griffith University, Queensland. I am an Australian citizen -
Egyptian origin, so I am fluent in both Arabic (my native language) and English
(the language of my previous study and current daily work).

I recently decided to work as a
freelancer, to take advantage of my translation, and computer programming
skills. In the field of translation, my knowledge and ability in both Arabic
and English language in scientific and literary fields are excellent. That had
encouraged me in 2016 to create a scientific page on Facebook
(Science4all.Arabic) - as a hobby - to translate scientific news and articles from
English to Arabic and publish them in a fun and easy-way for the Arab readers. I
have translated more than 250 articles and scientific reports over the past two
years, and the page has been very successful, with more than 14,000 followers.

مجال الترجمة وبرمجة الحاسب الآلي. ففي مجال الترجمة يعد تمكني في اللغتين العربية
والانجليزية في المجال العلمي والأدبي ممتازاً. حيث شجعني ذلك سابقاً - كهواية -
على انشاء صفحة على الفيسبوك (Science4all.Arabic) لترجمة المقالات العلمية وتقديمها بشكل ممتع وميسر
للقارئ العربي. ومن خلالها قمت بترجمة ما يزيد عن ٢٥٠ مقال وخبر علمي خلال العامين
الماضيين، وحققت الصفحة نجاحاً باهراً حيث زاد عدد متابعيها حالياً عن ١٤٠٠٠ متابع
ومعجب.
